Kassidy Reed, BFA interior design, ‘25.
Kassidy Reed, as an interior designer, centers her artistic vision on creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also inclusive and accessible for everyone. She believes that good design should transcend aesthetic appeal and prioritize functionality for individuals of all abilities. Her process involves thorough research and collaboration to understand their unique needs, ensuring that every element, from layout to finishes, promotes comfort and accessibility. She draws inspiration from diverse sources, aiming to combine practicality with creativity, ultimately crafting environments that foster a sense of belonging and enhance the overall quality of life for all users
Delaney Meehan, BFA. interior Design. ‘25
As an interior designer, Delaney Meehan strives to create spaces that blend function with emotional resonance, aiming to not only serve their purpose but also uplift and inspire the people who use them. Her work is rooted in storytelling and a strong sensitivity to the needs of families and communities, resulting in designs that range from bold, geometric public spaces encouraging exploration to serene, light-filled homes fostering connection and well-being. Her creative process is guided by research, empathy, and hands-on experimentation with materials, color, and form, reflecting a deep commitment to comfort, beauty, and intentional living, and a belief that thoughtful design has the power to positively shape lives.

Priya Gajmer is a Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate in Interior Design with a minor in Psychology at Park University. Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, she has resided in the United States for nearly five years. Her senior thesis, "The Wellness Meadow," is a pediatric healthcare design concept for the Children's Health and Wellness Foundation, aiming to create a comprehensive, family-centered healing environment. The project blends nature-inspired elements with sensory-friendly features and flexible layouts to support the mental, emotional, and physical needs of young patients and their families. As an interior design student with a psychology minor, Priya views design as a holistic process focused on understanding people's needs and creating beneficial spaces that foster healing, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Her designs, incorporating durable materials and aiming for reduced environmental impact, reflect her commitment to minimizing carbon footprints and waste. Abby, expressing gratitude for her professors' guidance, plans to pursue a career in art therapy, recognizing art's potential to aid in healing and coping mechanisms

Karla Ramos's senior thesis project, a Dark Academia home for an English professor and illustrator, celebrated intellectual curiosity and artistic expression. Using rich color palettes, vintage elements, and textural details, Ramos created a space that evoked a sense of history while remaining functionally modern. Her process combined client needs with research to translate them into a tangible design, emphasizing mood lighting, curated artifacts, and tactile materials to build immersive and personal spaces that reflected the clients' unique personalities.

Jillian McDaniel's senior project, focused on hospitality design, explores the intersection of interior design and psychological well-being. Her "Eunoia Hotel" concept investigates how interior environments can foster mental clarity, emotional wellness, and human connection. Drawing on research demonstrating the influence of lighting, spatial planning, and color on mood, McDaniel's design philosophy integrates research-driven programming with intuitive spatial storytelling. The project prioritizes intentional design choices to create spaces that promote comfort, safety, and peace of mind for guests, resulting in aesthetically pleasing and deeply impactful environments.
